We take great pride in producing hand-crafted, traditional Yorkshire ales brewed in a converted agricultural Laithe Barn just outside of Hetton in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
We have been brewing Dark Horse ales since 2008 and have now ‘racked up’ over 30 years of commercial brewing experience.
We use only the best British Maris Otter malt, pure Dales water from our own borehole, whole leaf hops and our own unique strain of brewing yeast.
Our ales can be found in many reputable drinking houses, bars, hotels and restaurants in the Yorkshire area and beyond. A helpful list can be found in ‘On The Bar’ to help you locate where. Bottled Hetton Pale retailers can also be found here.
Due to popular demand we also supply 72 pint barrels for private parties and events. Please find details in ‘Our Ales’
